Review by hotel critic
During our recent city break at Ca' Del Monica in Manarola, we truly discovered a gem that beautifully encapsules the essence of this charming part of Italy. Nestled within the historic “Baluardo” area and just a short 60 meters from the breathtaking marina, this thoughtfully designed apartment offered the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Our host, Giorgio, was a delight, meeting us with warmth and providing helpful suggestions about local activities. The apartment itself was modern, spacious, and featured breathtaking views from its private terrace, making it an idyllic spot for leisurely breakfasts while soaking in the picturesque surroundings. With the vibrant local shops and delicious restaurants just a minute's stroll away, we were never short of delightful options for dining or exploring. One of the highlights for our family was the comfort provided by the exceptional bedding; it made our nights rejuvenating after days spent strolling through the remarkable Cinque Terre. Ca' Del Monica served as our ideal base to explore the nearby villages, with easy access to the breathtaking coastal paths, including the famed ridge path number 1. For family travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure, I cannot recommend Ca' Del Monica highly enough. It's more than just accommodation—it's a serene sanctuary that enhances your experience in this enchanting region of Italy.
